An accredited, insurable CPD course for qualified massage therapists across Nuneaton, Warwickshire and the wider Midlands. This isn't just the beautiful, spa-style relaxation routine — you'll learn to use heated stones on muscle tension and trigger points too, taught hands-on with Lindsey Brookes, never in a group of more than two.
Not sure it's the right fit yet? Ask and we'll call you back for a chat — no obligation.
Fully Insurable
Points Awarded
Recognised Qualification
Max 2 Students, Ever
You hold a Body Massage, Sports Massage or Aromatherapy Massage qualification and meet GTi Professional Standards.
Whether you want the classic spa-style treatment or a genuine tool for muscle tension and sports therapy work, you want to offer it properly.
You'd rather have your technique corrected in real time than watch a demonstration from the back of a group of ten.
Not sure your current qualification counts, or want to talk it through first?
Request a call with a tutor and we'll ring you back — no obligation.
The classic routine
The full, indulgent Hot Stone Massage routine your clients already ask for
Smooth, flowing technique using heat to melt tension and calm the nervous system
A genuine luxury treatment your menu can charge properly for
The working application
Using heated stones directly on muscle tension and trigger points
Adapting pressure, placement and heat for a therapeutic rather than purely relaxing effect
A real adjunct to sports therapy — heat as a working tool, not just a treat
Six modules, self-paced, worth 26 CPD points - study whenever suits your working week.
A full day with Lindsey at Brookes Therapy Training, ReCoop Health - you and, at most, one other student.
Your hands, your pressure, your routine - watched and corrected as you go, not demonstrated at a distance.
Downloadable once you're signed off - recognised, insurable, ready to add to your menu.
Ongoing support afterwards - technique, case studies, or the business side of adding a new treatment. Entirely optional, never pushed.
You train in the room where Lindsey actually treats clients - not a hired hall or a classroom set up for the day.
A personally guided path — reserve your place, work through the theory at your own pace, then train hands-on when you're ready.
Pay £275 to reserve your place on the course — or speak to a tutor first if you'd like to talk it through, then reserve your place afterwards.
Once you've reserved your place, Lindsey follows up with you directly to get you started and enrol you with Beauty Guild/GTi for your online theory — already covered in your £275.
Complete the six online modules at your own pace — there's no deadline, and no need to rush it around clinic hours.
Once your theory is complete — or you're confident you'll have the majority of it done before you start — we'll book your one-to-one practical day.
Spend a full day at Brookes Therapy Training, ReCoop Health, learning the complete routine, technique by technique.
Once you're signed off, download your GTi Award certificate and add Hot Stone Massage to your menu.
Our Hot Stone Massage training is delivered exclusively as 1-on-1 or small cohort (1–2 people) sessions. Practical dates are arranged directly with Lindsey after booking to suit your schedule.
Most Hot Stone Massage CPD days are run in groups of eight, ten, sometimes more — one tutor, one demonstration, and very little time on any single pair of hands. This one isn't. With a maximum of two students on any practical day, every minute is spent on your technique, your pressure, your confidence with the stones. You leave having actually done it, correctly, under supervision — not having watched someone else do it from across the room.
Full Online Theory Included
GTi Enrolment Included
1-to-1 Practical Day Included
One payment covers everything — your online theory, GTi enrolment, and your one-to-one practical training day. No hidden add-ons.
If you'd prefer to split this into two instalments, just request a call with Lindsey and we'll arrange it with you directly.

Brookes Therapy Training
Brookes Therapy Training School is run from a real working clinic at ReCoop Health, Nuneaton, Warwickshire — not a hired hall set up for the day. Lindsey teaches CPD training and short courses alongside a genuine, ongoing clinical practice, so you're learning a routine that gets used and refined on real clients every week, not one that's only ever been demonstrated.
Years in clinical practice
Years teaching therapists
Real working clinic, not a classroom

Lindsey Brookes — Therapist, Educator & Founder of Brookes Therapies
Lindsey has been practising as a professional therapist for over 15 years and teaching bodywork for much of that time. She holds an NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Complementary Therapies, a Postgraduate Diploma in Aromatherapy Blending, advanced qualifications in massage and a Level 3 Adult Education and Teaching Diploma — so she's as qualified in how to teach as she is in what she's teaching.
What that means in practice: her courses aren't built around a textbook. They're built around the real questions, common mistakes and genuine challenges that come up when you work with actual clients — because she deals with them every day. You're learning from someone with current, active clinical experience, not someone who trained years ago and has been teaching ever since.
Her teaching style is calm, encouraging and individual. She notices where each student needs support and adjusts her guidance accordingly — the same approach she takes with her clients, applied to her students.
NVQ Level 2 & 3 VTCT Complementary Therapies
Postgraduate Diploma in Aromatherapy Blending
Advanced Massage Techniques qualification
Hot Stone Massage, Myofascial Release, Pregnancy Massage
Adult Education & Teaching Diploma Level 3
Reiki Master & Teacher
Clinical training experience at Royal Marsden Hospital (aromatherapy for respiratory support, wound care, pain and fatigue)
When you train with Lindsey, you're not just learning a skill — you're learning it from someone whose livelihood depends on doing it well.

"I completed my Hot Stones Massage course with Lindsey, and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. Lindsey answered all of my questions, and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. She was also incredibly helpful when advising me on which equipment would be best for me. I would highly recommend Brookes Therapies to anyone looking for high-quality training. Thank you, Lindsey, for such a great course!"
Anne O'Dea, Hot Stone Massage Graduate
"I recently did the hot stone massage course here which was tailored for me to use more specifically for use in sports massage. I can honestly say that if you want to learn how to incorporate a new technique straight into your clinic with full confidence then this is where you need to go to learn. The price and quality of the training is spot on, I will certainly be looking into what other courses I can do in the near future."
Matt Broughton, Hot Stone Massage Graduate
"I've just finished doing my body massage course with Lindsay, and enjoyed every minute. Lindsay is a patient, fun and so informative. I found the whole experience really interesting. Also thanks to the lovely models. I'm looking forward to my next course."
Louise Grant, Body Massage Graduate
No — you'll learn both. The classic spa-style routine is covered fully, but so is using the heated stones therapeutically on muscle tension and trigger points, which makes this a genuine adjunct to sports therapy as well as a stand-alone luxury treatment.
